Brief Biography
Khaja Mohammad Shazzad
PhD Candidate

Khaja M. Shazzad has received the B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh, M.Sc in Computer Engineering from Korea Aerospace University, South Korea in 2001 and 2006 respectively. Currently working toward his PhD. Degree in Electrical Engineering at University of Windsor, Canada. In academia he worked as a research assistant at Network Security and Embedded System Design Lab in Korea Aerospace University from 2004 to 2006. He has received several scholarships and awards, including Korea Science and Engineering Foundation Scholarship, Korea Aerospace University’s Tuition Scholarship, University of Windsor Doctoral Tuition Scholarship etc. He is also currently working as a research assistant at WiCIP Lab at the University of Windsor. His main area of research are MAC and PHY layer protocol design for Wireless and Underwater Acoustic Sensor Network, protocol implementation and validation in both network simulation environment and in hardware realization.

- Designed and developed distributed transactional software to automate labour recruitment and exporting process of Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET), for the Govt. of Bangladesh

Designed and developed HTTP server, Mail(SMTP) Server for Email marketing software- ROIMail (Evoknow Inc.)
- Reviewer for IEEE international conferences ( i.e. IV'12, VTC2012-Fall, ICT 2012, CCECE 2011 etc. )
